Jeffrey Johnston came and talked to our Rotary club. He lost both a son and his wife to substance use and addiction. He is trying to raise awareness, build connections, explore new ideas, and end the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use disorder. He is working on a new mental health project, Brightn, geared toward Gen Z.

Members, family, and friends enjoyed a fun night of Bingo at one of our Rotary socials, but the impact didn’t stop when the last number was called! What started as an evening of fellowship and friendly competition sparked an idea that grew into something much bigger: BINGO PALOOZA, our community fundraiser coming October 10, 2026.
Sometimes the best ideas begin when Rotarians simply come together, have fun, and ask, “What if we turned this into something that could make a difference?”

We provide children with a safe, comfortable place to sleep through the gift of a bed. Measuring, sanding, and nailing wood is a small price to pay for the moment a child sees their new bed and realizes, “This is mine.”
Rotarians encourage everyone to #FindYourWhy. Today, our why was simple: to #CreateLastingImpact in the lives of children alongside Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
Because every child deserves a bed.
Will you join us next time?
